Evangelism.  That must be done here and now.  May we continue to have a heart for the lost and a desire to lead them to a relationship with Jesus Christ.

During the first 3 Wednesdays in December Pastor Dan Howard continue the topic of purpose from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. by leading a study of The Purpose of Christmas.

The Wednesday Fall Discipleship classes just completed the study of Forty Days of Purpose by Rick Warren.  Deacon Gary Swanson and Pastor Dan Howard and Pastor Glenn Swanson did a wonderful job of leading their groups toward discovering the answer to “What on earth and I here for?”

Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship, Ministry, and Evangelism were the five areas we delved into to find the

purpose God has for our lives.   On the last night,  November 17,   all adults and youth  combined for the last session.  We celebrated what we had discovered, and everyone sensed a renewed desire in our church to become the people and church God wants us to be.

The point was made during the study that the only area of the 5 we looked at that we will not be able to do in Heaven is

High Attendance Sunday was an Exciting Day

On November 7th the Sunday School department celebrated High Attendance Day.  Praise the Lord for an all time high of 91! Pastor Ken Marler, Sunday School specialist from Lifeway led a wonderful group session on Acts 2. He encouraged all students, middle school through senior adults to walk in the spiritual gifts with which we have been given by the Holy Spirit. Thanks to the Phelps for hosting a celebration bon fire that evening! The fellowship was, as always, a great time!!!
