Individual and/or Family Worship Suggestion:

Good morning Bayside Family and Friends. Sherri and I are praying that you and your families are doing well. With the bad weather upon us - you have received word that Bible Study and Worship will be cancelled on this Lords Day. So that you may have a time of worship individually or with your family today, I am sending the following suggestions:

** Worship Through Prayer.
Last Sunday (January 6th) we started our New Year off with a Concert of Prayer. This was a sweet time of worship and fellowship with our church family. The challenge is to remember to faithfully pray for your church family, friends and neighbors. This is your conversation time with God. Also remember to take a moment in silence - to hear the Lord speaking to you as well.

** Worship through reading Gods Word.
Next week, we will pick back up with John chapter 12. In a way of review, please read John chapter 11: 1-57. Take time to reflect on what Jesus is teaching us through this powerful lesson. The key verse is found in John 11:25. “Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live.” (ESV).

** Worship through Song and Devotion.
The devotion I am sending reminds us to come back to the Heart of Worship. This song will be included in our worship set the next time we gather. Our theme that day will be “Extravagant Worship.” Check it out:
John Piper’s Desiring God and Christian Music Artist “Shane and Shane” have partnered together for a project called the “Worship Initiative”. For every song that we lift to God in Praise – there is a powerful message. So that you can begin preparing your hearts for worship , listen to Shane and Shane’s version of “The Heart of Worship” and then read and meditate on the devotion that follows. As always, we look forward to worshiping Jesus Christ alongside of you at Bayside Baptist Church!

** Worship through Serving:
Look for ways that you can serve one another today and throughout the week. There are many in our congregation or in your neighborhoods that may need help cleaning up or digging out from this storm. Keep looking for opportunities to share the love of Christ with your neighbors.

** Worship Through your Tithes and Offerings: As you give back to the Lord, thank him for his blessings and generosity. Malachi 3:10 reminds us of God's Great Dare and the blessing we receive when following His Word.
Take the Tithe Challenge.
At Bayside, you have three options for giving. #1:Through traditional offering on Sunday mornings.
#2: By mailing or dropping off your tithe to the Church office.
#3: By using our safe and secure online giving. The link is as follows:

Discussion Questions:
-- What makes reconciliation with another person so difficult? Is it harder to be the offender or the offended when it comes to a broken relationship? Explain.

-- How can reconciliation with others foster personal spiritual growth?
Thank you again for taking time to worship today. I will be praying for you and your families and look forward to seeing you when we return.

In Christ,
Pastor Glenn
